Workshops run from October through April. Every workshop allows you to practice becoming workplace-ready—empowering you to show up, follow through, and engage with professionals. By completing various workshops in each Career Ready Pathway, you can earn digital badges to showcase your skills and accomplishments and stand out on:

Eligibility Requirements

Ages 16–22 years of age before June 1, 2027

Must live or attend school in Dallas County, learn more about this requirement here.

Open to students of all experience levels.

Attend a virtual Dallas Works orientation and application.

Dallas Works is powered by All Stars Project, whose approach to youth development has been studied by SMU’s Center on Research & Evaluation (CORE). In a 5-year national outcome study, program participants grew across 8 validated dimensions of development, including Confidence, Personal Responsibility, and Vocational Competence. Learn more here.
